To everyone's delight, the entry is free for this annual fun episode. An event that draws a lot of attention is the election of the King and Queen of the Mud Festival. You could vote for the person who you think should be the winner of this carnival. But this is no ordinary vote; your vote is in the form of quarters. The money thus made in some such competitions goes for a charity organization. Basically people end up having a good time while contributing monetarily to a good cause.
