Annual Zoobilation Ball in San Antonio, Texas
The San Antonio zoo is one among the oldest institutions in San Antonia in Southern Texas. The zoo has become one of the best in America on account of the untiring efforts of a group of dedicated people. The Zoo has more than 3500 animals, from over 750 species. The zoo is housed on 56 acres of land. There are more than 950,000 people visiting the zoo annually of which 100,000 children alone, visit the zoo on field trips. 123,000 children benefit from the educational programs of the Zoo.
Every year, the San Antonia Zoo conducts innovative events and special programs to get more and more people involved in its efforts for conservation, species preservation program and conservation. The educational programs aim to support math, social sciences and arts along with core learning in science and conservation. Along with the educational program, the youth are provided with an opportunity for community service.
The Annual Zoobilation Ball is one such event. The sixth Zoobilation Ball is slated for November 13, 2008 and will start from 6:30 pm onwards. The Ball is a black-tie event. The events during the program are silent auctions, live auctions with dinner and dancing. Around 900 of San Antonia's most influential people feel it a privilege to attend the Ball.
The event offer Sponsorships for three levels of tables; $7500 for Congo Kinds, $5000 for Amazing Amazons and $2750 for Mighty Malaysians. You can also buy individual tickets for $225 per head. Reservations for the San Antonio's Zoobilation Ball can be made in advance through telephone or through the Internet.
