Annual Asian Festival in San Antonio, Texas

The Annual Asian Fesitval in San Antonio Texas is an event that celebrates the cultural diversity of the Asian population of San Antonio.&   The event usually takes place around the Chinese New Year, which is in February, and has grown in popularity every year since it's inception. The Annual Asian Fesitval is held at the University of Texas San Antonio Institute of Texan Culture, which is located in Hemisfair Park under the Tower of the Americas.

Each year vendors from wide and diverse cultures come together to celebrate the history and influence that Asian cultures have played in San Antonio. The festival features Asian cultures from the Middle East to the Great Pacific Islands including Bali, Cambodia, China, Japan, The Philipines, Hawaii, India, Korea, Lao, Okinawa, Pakistan, Tiawan, Thailand, Vietnam and more.  Vendors offer exceptionally delicious and authetic Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Filipino, and Polynesian foods that will tempt your taste buds and delight your senses.  The Asian Festival also features vendors selling crafts, jewelry, clothing and more.  There will be cultural dance demonstrations and martial arts presentations as well.
